For more details click on above link.   1st Round Inter Club Cup 18 August, 2008 Leigh Harriers were just eleven points away from qualifying for the final of the Inter Club Cup, finishing 5th behind Trafford, Blackpool & Fylde, Bury and City of York. Leigh got off to a great start with Neil Pendlebury winning the first event on the track the 10,000m, other individual winners were Laura Riches (800m) and Lauren Howarth (1500m). AAA's U17 & U15 Championships 16 August, 2008 Laura Riches competed in the U17 Womens' 3000m final on Saturday 9th August at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham. Laura finished 11th in a time of 10.29.57, only 5 seconds slower than her PB. Northern League - Final Standings 2008 08 August, 2008 Leigh finished 2nd in Division 3W.
